This study validates a novel vessel-length based computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method for calculating fractional flow reserve (FFR) from coronary computed tomography angiography (CT-FFR). The study involved 117 patients and demonstrated that CT-FFR provides better diagnostic accuracy than CCTA alone in identifying functionally significant coronary artery disease. CT-FFR was computed using a personal computer with improved efficiency, making it more applicable in clinical practice.
